What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Aw's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees must ensure their managers and employees sign a confidentiality agreement to protect Aw's confidential information. Aw requires that all managers and other employees who attend their training programs, seminars, or conferences, and/or have access to confidential information, maintain the confidentiality of that information and sign a confidentiality agreement in a form approved by them.
Before a manager or employee receives training, the franchisee must provide Aw with copies of the signed confidentiality agreements. This requirement ensures that Aw's proprietary information remains protected and that all individuals with access to it are bound by a confidentiality agreement.
Aw retains the right to prescribe the form of agreement used and to receive copies of the signed agreements. This right is solely to ensure that franchisees adequately protect the confidential information. Prospective franchisees should request a sample of the confidentiality agreement form from Aw to ensure compliance.
