What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Aw's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, Aw will send a representative to the franchisee's Papa Ray's Pizza Restaurant for 3 days around the time of opening. During this time, the representative will provide on-site assistance and additional training to the franchisee, any manager, and the employees. This on-site assistance is provided at no additional fee.
This on-site support is a valuable benefit for new franchisees as they launch their Aw location. Having an experienced representative present during the critical opening phase can help ensure smooth operations, proper training, and adherence to Aw's standards. The representative can offer guidance, troubleshoot issues, and reinforce training concepts, contributing to a successful launch.
While Aw provides this initial on-site assistance, franchisees should recognize that ongoing support may be subject to additional fees. The FDD states that Aw may send a representative for additional guidance and assistance at the franchisee's request, but this is at Aw's discretion and may incur a fee. Franchisees should factor in potential costs for additional support beyond the initial 3-day period when budgeting for their Aw franchise.
