What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Aw's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the founder John Rayyan is the instructor for the initial training program. In addition to the founder, current managers of affiliate-owned restaurants may assist in the on-the-job training.
This means that while the founder provides the primary instruction, franchisees may also receive hands-on training from experienced managers working in Aw's corporate-owned locations. This can be beneficial as these managers are actively involved in the day-to-day operations of the business and can offer practical insights.
It is important for prospective franchisees to understand the extent of this assistance. They should ask Aw about the qualifications and experience of the managers who may be involved in training, as well as the structure and content of the on-the-job training program. This will help them assess the quality and effectiveness of the training they will receive.
