What This Means (2024 FDD)

According to Auntie Annes's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, trainees are restricted from participating in the Management Training Program until specific conditions are met. These conditions include providing a fully signed lease in a form approved by Auntie Annes (if a lease is required), ensuring the franchised business is under construction, and providing evidence of the required insurance as stipulated in the Franchise Agreement.

Additionally, trainees must be within the eligible training period specified on Schedule A of the Franchise Agreement to attend the Management Training Program. These prerequisites ensure that trainees are prepared and that the necessary groundwork for opening the franchise has been laid before they receive training.

These requirements are typical in the franchise industry, as franchisors need to ensure franchisees have secured their location, have proper insurance, and are in a position to begin construction before investing in training. This approach helps to streamline the opening process and ensures that franchisees are fully prepared to launch their Auntie Annes location successfully after completing the training program.
