Under what condition might Auntie Annes require franchisees or their affiliates to provide the Management Training Program?

If you and your affiliates collectively operate two or more Franchised Businesses, we may, in our sole discretion, require or permit you or your affiliates to provide the Management Training Program to your Required Trainees or Subsequent Trainees.
- (ii) Certification Required.
If we require or permit you or your affiliates to provide the Management Training Program to your trainees, before you or they may do so, one or more of your or their Franchised Businesses must be certified by us as Certified Training Location and one or more of your or their Managers must be certified by us as a trainer authorized to provide our Management Training Program to your trainees (a "Certified Training Manager").
To be designated as a Certified Training Manager, a Manager must (a) complete our Management Training Program at least six months before applying for certification, (b) maintain specific food safety programs, (c) attend any required additional training program, and (d) meet other qualifications that we may specify from time to time.

According to Auntie Annes's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, if a franchisee and their affiliates collectively operate two or more franchised businesses, Auntie Annes may, at its sole discretion, require or permit the franchisee or their affiliates to provide the Management Training Program to their Required Trainees or Subsequent Trainees.
However, before a franchisee or their affiliates can provide the Management Training Program, one or more of their franchised businesses must be certified by Auntie Annes as a Certified Training Location. Additionally, one or more of the franchisee's or their affiliate's managers must be certified by Auntie Annes as a trainer authorized to provide the Management Training Program, known as a Certified Training Manager.
To become a Certified Training Manager, a manager must have completed the Auntie Annes Management Training Program at least six months before applying for certification, maintain specific food safety programs, attend any required additional training programs, and meet other qualifications that Auntie Annes may specify. This ensures that the training provided by franchisees meets Auntie Annes's standards and maintains consistency across all locations.
