Under what condition might Auntie Annes require a franchisee to appoint a Director of Operations?

According to Auntie Anne's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, if a franchisee and their affiliates operate four or more Auntie Anne's Franchised Businesses, Auntie Anne's may require the franchisee to appoint one or more Managers with the responsibility of supervising and supporting multiple Franchised Businesses, known as a "Director of Operations".

Each Director of Operations must successfully complete the Management Training Program, meet any minimum standards Auntie Anne's requires for the position, and complete any additional or on-site training that Auntie Anne's specifies. The franchisee must inform Auntie Anne's in writing of the identity of any appointed Managers and Directors of Operations.

This requirement ensures that franchisees with multiple locations have adequate oversight and support to maintain brand standards and operational efficiency across all their Auntie Anne's locations.
