What This Means (2024 FDD)
According to Auntie Anne's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, after a franchisee opens their franchised business, Auntie Anne's may offer additional consulting or support services, including on-site training and remote support. The availability of these services is at Auntie Anne's sole discretion.
Auntie Anne's may charge a reasonable fee for these additional services, which could include a daily or hourly fee for each of their representatives. For on-site training, the franchisee may also have to reimburse Auntie Anne's for their representatives' travel and living expenses, including airfare, car expenses, lodging, and meals.
However, the FDD does not specify any conditions under which on-site training would be provided at no cost to the franchisee. It only states that Auntie Anne's may offer these services and may charge a fee for them.
A prospective Auntie Anne's franchisee should inquire with the franchisor about the specific circumstances in which on-site training might be offered without charge, as this is not detailed in the provided documentation.
