If any of your Required Trainees have previously attended and successfully completed our Management Training Program and you or they have not defaulted under any other franchise agreement with us, we may, in our sole discretion, determine that such Required Trainee is not required to attend the Management Training Program again or will be required to attend a modified Management Training Program.

What This Means (2024 FDD)
According to Auntie Annes's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, a Required Trainee may be exempt from attending the Management Training Program if they have previously attended and successfully completed the program. This exemption is not automatic; Auntie Annes retains the sole discretion to determine whether the trainee must attend the program again or if a modified version will suffice.
This policy benefits franchisees by potentially reducing training costs and time commitments if they have experienced personnel. However, Auntie Annes maintains control over the training process, ensuring consistent standards across all franchise locations. The franchisee or trainee must not have defaulted under any other franchise agreement with Auntie Annes to be eligible for this exemption.
It is important to note that Auntie Annes's decision is discretionary, meaning that even if a trainee meets the criteria, Auntie Annes can still require them to attend the training program. This could be due to changes in the program, performance issues at other franchise locations, or other factors deemed relevant by Auntie Annes. Franchisees should communicate with Auntie Annes to understand the specific training requirements for their personnel.
