What This Means (2024 FDD)
According to Auntie Annes's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, while on-site training is not generally required, Auntie Annes retains the discretion to mandate it under specific circumstances. Specifically, Auntie Annes may require a franchisee to obtain on-site training at any time. This includes the period leading up to and following the store's opening date.
Additionally, Auntie Annes can require on-site training if a franchisee fails to comply with the standards and systems established by the company. This provision serves as a mechanism for Auntie Annes to ensure consistent quality and operational adherence across all franchise locations.
While franchisees can request on-site training, Auntie Annes is not obligated to fulfill such requests. This flexibility allows Auntie Annes to manage its resources and prioritize support based on the needs of the franchise system as a whole.
