- Computer System.
You must purchase, lease, and/or license and install at the Shop the POS System, computer systems, mobile hardware, software, online ordering platform, associated computer hardware, telephone lines, network connections, communications equipment, high speed internet access (e.g. DSL or cable), credit card, gift card and loyalty card processing equipment, and other equipment that we require from time to time (collectively, the "Computer System").
The estimate includes the cost of purchasing the POS System from our designated Approved Supplier under the CapEx Program.
You may also be required to purchase training software training from a vendor that we designate.

- Trailer/Truck Costs. If you operate a Concession Shop, you must purchase a food truck or trailer from an Approved Supplier and must customize the interior and exterior unit to comply with our Standards. This estimate includes the cost of fit-out, exterior signage and vehicle wrapping, the generator, license tags, and related permits. This estimate assumes that you are purchasing the food truck or trailer and do not finance the purchase.

What This Means (2024 FDD)
According to Auntie Anne's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees must purchase or lease certain equipment and machinery, such as kitchen equipment, from Auntie Anne's Approved Suppliers. This equipment must comply with Auntie Anne's standards, and for Co-Branded Shops, the equipment must also meet the standards of the Co-Branded Franchisor.
Additionally, franchisees are required to purchase computer systems, including POS systems, from Auntie Anne's designated Approved Supplier under the CapEx Program. Franchisees may also be required to purchase training software from a vendor designated by Auntie Anne's.
For a Concession Shop, franchisees must purchase a food truck or trailer from an Approved Supplier and customize it to comply with Auntie Anne's standards. This includes the fit-out, exterior signage, vehicle wrapping, generator, license tags, and related permits. The FDD assumes that the franchisee is purchasing the food truck or trailer and not financing the purchase.
