am requires. If any of your Required Trainees have previously attended and successfully completed our Management Training Program and you or they have not defaulted under any other franchise agreement with us, we may, in our sole discretion, determine that such Required Trainee is not required to attend the Management Training Program again or will be required to attend a limited version of the Management Training Program.
We conduct the Management Training Program periodically as needed. Training programs and classes are subject to space and time availability. Currently, we conduct Management Training Programs online and at Certified Training Locations that we designate. Currently, our classroom training is conducted through online modules and our on-the-job training is conducted at a Certified Training Location. For the third or subsequent Shops operated by you or your affiliates, if you have a Certified Training Manager (as defined below) and operate a Certified Training Store (as defined below), we may, in our sole discretion, allow you to provide the Management Training Program to your Required Trainees.
Your trainees may not attend the Management Training Program until (a) you have provided us with your fully signed Lease (if required) in a form that we have approved, (b) your Shop is under
construction, (c) you have provided us with evidence of the insurance that is required under your Franchise Agreement, and (d) it is within six weeks of the scheduled opening date of your Shop.
There is no charge for the cost of the Management Training Program for your Required Trainees for your first two Shops (including Shops owned by your affiliates). If we provide the Management Training Program to you for your third or subsequent Shops (including Shops operated by your affiliates), you must pay us a fee of $2,500 ($4,000 for Co-Branded Shops) for the Management Training Program. You must pay us a reasonable training fee that we designate (currently, $250 per trainee per day) if (i) you elect, and we permit you, to bring additional trainees, other than the Required Trainees, to the Management Training Program, (ii) your Required Trainees are trained in separate sessions, or (iii) any of your Required Trainees fail to successfully complete the Management Training Program and re-enroll in the program or are replaced with new trainees that enroll in the program.
Your Required Trainees must successfully complete our Management Training Program at least one week prior to the scheduled opening date of the Shop.

What This Means (2024 FDD)
According to Auntie Annes's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, the Management Training Program may be conducted online or in person at several locations. These locations include Auntie Annes's corporate headquarters in Atlanta, Georgia, a Shop designated as a Certified Training Location, or other locations authorized by Auntie Annes. The Certified Training Location may be located outside of the franchisee's state and may be operated by other Auntie Anne's franchisees. Currently, Auntie Anne's conducts Management Training Programs online and at designated Certified Training Locations.
For franchisees operating a third or subsequent Auntie Annes location, the franchisor may allow them to provide the Management Training Program to their Required Trainees if they have a Certified Training Manager and operate a Certified Training Store. To be designated as a Certified Training Location, a Shop must meet specific compliance scores, fully comply with Auntie Anne's standards, employ at least one Manager in addition to a Certified Training Manager, and meet any other requirements specified by Auntie Annes.
Auntie Anne's retains the right to modify the training program at any time, including the location of training. If Auntie Anne's withholds or revokes certification of a Certified Training Location, franchisees may be required to have their trainees attend the Management Training Program at another location designated by Auntie Anne's, and the franchisee may be required to pay the then-current fee for such training.
