What This Means (2024 FDD)

According to Auntie Anne's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, it is the franchisee's responsibility to monitor for any Supplements to the Manuals. Franchisees must also maintain a current and up-to-date copy of the Manuals at their Franchised Business at all times. Auntie Anne's will communicate these changes in writing or electronically.

The franchisee is obligated to immediately adopt and use any Supplements to the Manuals, and these Supplements are considered binding as if they were originally part of the Manuals. This means that franchisees must stay informed of any changes and integrate them into their business operations promptly.

Auntie Anne's retains a master copy of the Manuals, which will serve as the controlling document in case of any disputes regarding compliance. Franchisees should be aware that changes to the Manuals or Standards may require additional capital investment or increased operating costs. Therefore, staying updated with the latest Supplements is crucial for maintaining compliance and managing the business effectively.

This requirement ensures that all Auntie Anne's locations operate under the most current standards and procedures, maintaining brand consistency and quality. Franchisees should establish a system for regularly checking for updates and ensuring that all staff members are trained on any new procedures or requirements outlined in the Supplements.
