What This Means (2024 FDD)
Based on the 2024 Auntie Annes Franchise Agreement, Schedule A specifies the Site Approval Deadline. If a franchisee fails to meet the Site Approval Deadline, they may request an extension before the deadline's expiration; however, Auntie Annes is not obligated to grant one.
If Auntie Annes agrees to an extension, they have the right to require the franchisee to pay a $2,500 extension fee. Failure to meet the Site Approval Deadline can lead to further consequences.
According to the Franchise Agreement, if the franchisee fails to meet the Site Approval Deadline and does not cure this failure within 30 calendar days after receiving notice from Auntie Annes, Auntie Annes has the right to terminate the Franchise Agreement. Therefore, it is crucial for prospective Auntie Annes franchisees to understand and adhere to the Site Approval Deadline outlined in Schedule A to avoid potential penalties or termination of the agreement.
