What This Means (2024 FDD)

According to Auntie Annes's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, the On-Site Training and Assistance Fee is currently $500 per trainer per day, plus their travel and living expenses. This fee applies if Auntie Annes, at its discretion, provides on-site training or assistance for a franchisee's third and subsequent shops, either at the franchisee's request or because Auntie Annes deems the assistance necessary.

For the first two Full Shops or Concession Shops, the initial franchise fee covers the cost of on-site opening training and assistance. However, for Concession Shops, Auntie Annes is not required to send a representative for on-site assistance. For subsequent shops, the on-site training typically involves one representative assisting for six days, costing approximately $4,800 to $5,300. For Cinnabon Co-Branded Shops, it involves two representatives assisting for seven days, costing $11,100 to $12,200, and for Jamba Co-Branded Shops, it involves two representatives assisting for 10 days, costing $15,600 to $17,000. These costs are estimates and do not include travel and living expenses for the trainers.

This fee structure is important for prospective franchisees to consider, especially those planning to open multiple Auntie Annes locations. The cost of on-site training and assistance can vary significantly depending on the type of shop (Full Shop, Concession Shop, or Co-Branded Shop) and the duration of the assistance required. Franchisees should factor in these potential costs when budgeting for the opening of additional locations. It is also important to note that the provision of on-site training for the first two Concession Shops is not guaranteed, which could impact the initial setup and training process.
