What This Means (2024 FDD)
According to Auntie Annes's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, if you operate a Concession Shop, you will sign the Franchise Agreement and the Concession Shop Schedule. The Franchise Agreement is attached as Exhibit B, and the Concession Shop Schedule is attached as Exhibit C to the Disclosure Document.
It is important to note that Auntie Annes only offers Concession Shops to existing franchisees who meet their qualifications. This means that a new franchisee cannot directly apply for a Concession Shop franchise. They would first need to become a franchisee with another type of Auntie Annes shop and then meet the requirements to open a Concession Shop.
A Concession Shop is defined as a shop where you produce and sell a range of Auntie Anne's products from a temporary stand at a farmers' market, concession trailer, or food truck. This format differs from a Full Shop, which operates from a more permanent location in places like malls or airports and offers a wider range of products, potentially including alcoholic beverages.
