What This Means (2025 FDD)
Based on the 2025 Aunt Millies Bakeries Franchise Disclosure Document, the excerpts provided do not contain information about leases between Aunt Millies Bakeries and related parties. The excerpts focus on the relationship between Aunt Millies Bakeries and its distributors, the terms of the distribution agreement, dispute resolution, and advertising agreements.
Specifically, the excerpts discuss the distributor's rights and obligations, termination conditions, and the independent contractor relationship. There is also mention of an advertising agreement where the distributor (LESSOR) rents advertising space on their delivery vehicle to Aunt Millies Bakeries for $60 per week. However, this is an agreement for advertising space, not a lease for property such as real estate or equipment.
To determine if Aunt Millies Bakeries engages in leasing arrangements with related parties, a prospective franchisee should review Item 7 (Initial Investment) and Item 8 (Restrictions on Sources of Products and Services) of the FDD, which often disclose such relationships. Additionally, directly asking the franchisor for details on any existing leases with related parties would provide clarity on this matter.
