What This Means (2025 FDD)

Based on the 2025 Aunt Millies Bakeries Franchise Disclosure Document, the document outlines agreements where Aunt Millie's acts as the lessor for advertising space on delivery vehicles and clothing worn by personnel. In the Delivery Vehicle Advertising Agreement, Aunt Millie's agrees to pay $60 per week to the lessor for advertising space on the primary delivery vehicle used by the lessor. Similarly, in the Clothing Advertising Agreement, Aunt Millie's agrees to pay $60 per week for advertising space on approved clothing worn by the lessor's personnel.

Under these agreements, the lessor is responsible for maintaining the vehicle and clothing in a clean and neat condition, consistent with Aunt Millie's image. They must also repaint the vehicle as reasonably required by Aunt Millie's and make the vehicle and clothing available for placing or amending advertising materials. Aunt Millie's is responsible for the content and expenses related to the advertising materials.

Aunt Millie's retains the right to withhold rental payments and terminate the agreements if the lessor does not comply with the requirements. If Aunt Millie's terminates the Vehicle Advertising Agreement or Clothing Advertising Agreement, the lessor must make the vehicle or clothing available for the removal of advertising materials. These agreements define specific, fixed weekly payments for advertising space rather than detailing broader lease liabilities related to real estate or equipment.
