What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to the 2025 Aunt Millies Bakeries FDD, the term 'LESSOR' is defined within the context of two specific advertising agreements: the Delivery Vehicle Advertising Agreement and the Clothing Advertising Agreement. In both instances, the LESSOR agrees to rent advertising space to Aunt Millie's for the purpose of promoting Aunt Millie's products.
In the Delivery Vehicle Advertising Agreement, the LESSOR is the party who owns or operates the primary delivery vehicle used in their business and rents the outside painted surfaces of this vehicle to Aunt Millie's for advertising. Aunt Millie's pays $60 per week for this space and covers the costs of applying advertising decals or materials. The LESSOR is responsible for maintaining the vehicle in a clean and neat condition and repainting it as reasonably required by Aunt Millie's.
In the Clothing Advertising Agreement, the LESSOR is the party whose personnel wear approved clothing items suitable for advertising Aunt Millie's products. Similar to the vehicle agreement, Aunt Millie's pays $60 per week for this advertising space and is responsible for placing and maintaining the advertising materials. The LESSOR must ensure that the clothing is kept clean and that standards of dress and personal grooming align with Aunt Millie's advertising policy. The agreement stipulates that the LESSOR cannot use Aunt Millie's tradenames or trademarks in any way other than as specified in the advertising agreements.
