The Approved Location of a single franchise will be at the center of the Territory, composed of a circle having a radius of five (5) miles or up to a population of approximately 100,000 people. What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Augusta Lawn Care's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the approved location for a single franchise will be at the center of the territory, which is composed of a circle having a radius of five miles or up to a population of approximately 100,000 people. However, the FDD states that franchisees will not receive an exclusive territory.
This means that as an Augusta Lawn Care franchisee, your territory will likely cover a 5-mile radius around your approved location, or an area with a population of about 100,000 people. However, Augusta Lawn Care retains the right to modify the territory through a written agreement. The territory may also be modified upon renewal or transfer of the franchise.
It is important to note that Augusta Lawn Care does not grant exclusive territories, meaning franchisees may face competition from other franchisees, company-owned outlets, or other competitive brands. Additionally, Augusta Lawn Care and other franchisees may service clients in your territory as long as they do not advertise or market there. Prospective franchisees should carefully consider the potential for competition within their territory and the impact it may have on their business.
