What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to the 2025 Augusta Lawn Care Franchise Disclosure Document, training for transferees is mandatory and follows the same structure as the initial training provided to the original franchisee. However, Augusta Lawn Care may charge a fee for this training.
The training schedule for transferees is determined by Augusta Lawn Care based on space availability. It is important to note that the training must be completed before the transfer of the franchise takes place.
Prospective franchisees should be aware that they are responsible for covering all travel, lodging, and meal expenses for the transferees during the training period. Additionally, they must handle any compensation or benefits due to the trainees during this time. This requirement ensures that transferees are adequately prepared to manage the Augusta Lawn Care business effectively after the transfer.
