What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to the 2025 FDD, Augusta Lawn Care acknowledges the importance of advertising, marketing, and promotion for enhancing the goodwill and public image of its system. As a franchisee, you're expected to participate in advertising, marketing, and promotional programs.
Augusta Lawn Care requires franchisees to submit all advertising materials for approval at least two weeks before they are used. This allows Augusta Lawn Care to maintain brand consistency and correct any unacceptable features or misrepresentations in the advertising. Even if materials are initially approved, Augusta Lawn Care can later withdraw approval if necessary to align with system changes or correct advertising issues.
Franchisees are expected to offer rebates, give-aways, and promotions as part of the system, bearing the costs themselves. Augusta Lawn Care may establish a franchise advisory council to advise on system-wide advertising expenditures and coordinate franchisee efforts. While Augusta Lawn Care may provide advertising materials, franchisees are responsible for the costs of printing these materials.
Overall, Augusta Lawn Care places significant emphasis on standardized advertising and marketing efforts to maintain a consistent brand image. Franchisees must adhere to Augusta Lawn Care's guidelines and obtain approval for their advertising materials, ensuring alignment with the broader system's marketing strategies.
