What This Means (2025 FDD)

Based on the 2025 Augusta Lawn Care Franchise Disclosure Document, the document does not specify the exact method by which a franchisee must provide evidence of local advertising and promotion expenditures. However, the FDD does state that Augusta Lawn Care may establish a franchise advisory council, which may advise Augusta Lawn Care on expenditures for system-wide advertising.

While the FDD does not explicitly detail the process for submitting evidence of local advertising expenses, it emphasizes the franchisee's responsibility to engage in promotions and advertising programs as directed by Augusta Lawn Care. This suggests that franchisees are expected to participate in marketing efforts and may need to provide some form of documentation to demonstrate compliance.

A prospective Augusta Lawn Care franchisee should clarify with the franchisor the specific requirements for documenting and reporting local advertising and promotion expenditures. This includes understanding what types of documentation are acceptable (e.g., receipts, invoices, campaign reports), the frequency of reporting, and the process for submitting this information to Augusta Lawn Care.
