What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Augusta Lawn Care's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees are required to use the Command Center. This requirement is part of the broader technology infrastructure that Augusta Lawn Care mandates for its franchisees. There is a Command Center Fee associated with this requirement, though the specific amount of this fee is detailed in Item 6 of the FDD.

In addition to the Command Center, Augusta Lawn Care franchisees must also purchase and use the designated POS System, which is currently Copilot, though this is subject to change. Franchisees are also required to obtain other computer services, including two iPads and/or laptop or desktop computers. The approximate annual cost for the POS System and other required equipment is $3,000.00, but this cost is subject to increases by the vendors. Franchisees are responsible for any maintenance, repairs, or updates to the computer system.

Furthermore, Augusta Lawn Care franchisees are required to use Pay-For-Performance, a software created and owned by Augusta Lawn Care, for use in their Augusta Lawn Care Business; however, there is no additional cost currently associated with the software. Augusta Lawn Care also requires independent access to the information generated or stored in the franchisee's computer systems, including transaction, operational, and customer information. This allows Augusta Lawn Care to review the franchisee's business operations and inspect their records.
