What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to the 2025 Augusta Lawn Care Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees are strictly prohibited from modifying any of the brand's Marks without explicit written consent from the company. This includes alterations to words, designs, or symbols associated with the Marks, unless Augusta Lawn Care has specifically licensed or approved such changes in writing. This requirement ensures brand consistency and uniformity across all franchise locations, which is a common practice in franchising to maintain brand recognition and customer trust.

The FDD emphasizes that franchisees cannot use any Mark in conjunction with unauthorized products or services or in any manner not explicitly authorized by Augusta Lawn Care in writing. Furthermore, franchisees are barred from incorporating any of the Marks, including "Augusta Lawn Care," into the name of their business legal entity, such as a corporation, LLC, or partnership.

These restrictions are in place to protect the integrity and value of the Augusta Lawn Care brand. Unauthorized modifications or uses of the Marks could dilute the brand's identity, create customer confusion, or potentially infringe on the company's intellectual property rights. Franchisees must adhere to these guidelines to ensure they are operating within the bounds of the franchise agreement and contributing to the overall strength of the Augusta Lawn Care brand.
