What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Augusta Lawn Care's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the Franchise Disclosure Questionnaire requires careful review of each question. Franchisees must provide honest responses to each question. If a franchisee answers "No" to any of the questions, they must explain their answer in the table provided.
The questionnaire aims to determine if any unauthorized, untrue, inaccurate, or misleading statements or promises were made to the franchisee. It also ensures that the franchisee has been properly represented and understands the limitations on claims they can make regarding the purchase and operation of their Augusta Lawn Care franchise.
Importantly, the document specifies that franchisees cannot sign or date the Questionnaire on the same day as the Receipt for the Franchise Disclosure Document. Instead, they must sign and date it on the same day they sign the Franchise Agreement and pay their Initial Franchise Fee. This timing emphasizes the importance of the questionnaire as a final check before committing to the franchise agreement. The questionnaire also states that by signing, the franchisee acknowledges they have considered each question carefully and responded truthfully.
