What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to the 2025 Augusta Lawn Care FDD, Augusta Lawn Care may provide a secure intranet for its franchisees in the future, but it does not currently have one. The FDD states that Augusta Lawn Care may establish one or more websites to advertise, market, and promote the system and the franchise opportunity. The company currently maintains the website www.augustalawncareservices.com, but is not obligated to continue maintaining that website, and is not barred from creating additional or replacement websites.
Augusta Lawn Care may provide franchisees with a listing for their location or a web page to promote their business on any website now in existence or created in the future, if the franchisee provides the information requested to develop the web page. The system standard will apply to any website advertising.
While Augusta Lawn Care does not currently offer a secure intranet, it does require franchisees to purchase and use a designated POS System, currently Copilot, at an approximate annual cost of $3,000. Franchisees must also use Pay-For-Performance software created and owned by Augusta Lawn Care, but there is no additional cost currently associated with this software. Franchisees are required to have broadband Internet access and maintain a functioning email address to facilitate communication with Augusta Lawn Care.
