What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to the 2025 Augusta Lawn Care Franchise Disclosure Document, attendance at the annual conference is mandatory. Augusta Lawn Care may require franchisees to attend a conference once per calendar year.

The FDD states that franchisees are responsible for their own expenses and the expenses of their employees who attend the conference. Augusta Lawn Care may also require franchisees to pay a reasonable fee to attend the conference.

Importantly, the FDD emphasizes that franchisees are required to pay the conference fee, regardless of whether they actually attend the Annual Conference. This means that even if a franchisee cannot make it to the conference, they are still obligated to pay the associated fee. This could represent a financial burden even if the franchisee does not directly benefit from the conference by attending.
