What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Atwell Suites' 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, Atwell Suites may discontinue providing Group Owner Benefits to a franchisee under certain circumstances. Specifically, Atwell Suites can stop providing these benefits without prior notice if the franchisee ceases to be a Group Member, if the Group Owner Agreement is no longer in effect, or if the Group Owner requests the cessation of these benefits.
This provision means that the franchisee's access to the Group Owner Benefits is contingent upon their continued membership in the Group, the ongoing validity of the Group Owner Agreement, and the Group Owner's discretion. If any of these conditions are not met, Atwell Suites reserves the right to terminate the Group Owner Benefits.
For a prospective Atwell Suites franchisee, this highlights the importance of understanding the terms and conditions of the Group Owner program, including the requirements for maintaining Group Membership and the provisions of the Group Owner Agreement. It also underscores the potential risk that these benefits could be discontinued due to factors outside the franchisee's direct control, such as decisions made by the Group Owner or changes to the Group Owner Agreement. Therefore, it is crucial to evaluate the stability and reliability of the Group Owner program when considering an Atwell Suites franchise.
