Answer from 2025 FDD Document

SCH has negotiated rates which are on file with the Federal Communications Commission with certain providers of long-distance telecommunication services to Brand System licensees, such as AT&T and Verizon, in consideration for assistance, program support or other services SCH renders to the providers in connection with their sales to licensees. What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Atwell Suites' 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees are not required to use the long-distance telecommunication service providers that SCH has negotiated rates with. SCH, in consideration for assistance, program support, or other services, has negotiated rates with providers of long-distance telecommunication services such as AT&T and Verizon for Brand System licensees. However, franchisees are not obligated to use these specific providers.

This provides Atwell Suites franchisees with the flexibility to choose their own long-distance telecommunication service providers, potentially allowing them to find more competitive rates or services that better suit their specific needs. Franchisees can evaluate different providers and select the one that offers the best value for their business.

While Atwell Suites does not mandate the use of SCH's negotiated providers for long-distance telecommunications, franchisees should still ensure that their chosen providers meet any necessary technical specifications or standards required by the brand for compatibility with other systems or services. Franchisees should also consider the potential benefits of using SCH's negotiated rates, such as pre-negotiated pricing and potentially streamlined support or integration with other brand systems.
