What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Atwell Suites' 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the application fee for a new development, conversion, re-licensing, and change of ownership is $500 per guest room/suite, but not less than $50,000. This fee is applicable to various hotel brands under Holiday Hospitality Franchising, LLC, including Atwell Suites. This fee is non-refundable, as stated in Item 3 of Attachment "A".

For a prospective Atwell Suites franchisee, this means that the initial application fee will depend on the number of guest rooms or suites planned for the hotel. For example, a hotel with 100 rooms would incur an application fee of $50,000 (100 rooms x $500/room = $50,000). However, even if a hotel has fewer rooms, the minimum application fee is $50,000. This fee covers the initial costs associated with processing the franchise application and is required to begin the franchising process.

It is important to note that this application fee is non-refundable, regardless of whether the franchise application is approved. Additionally, a standard application fee will be charged upon application for any guest rooms or suites to be added to the Hotel. Franchisees should factor this significant upfront cost into their initial investment calculations and be prepared to pay this fee upon submitting their application.
