Answer from 2025 FDD Document

If you relocate the Franchised Business, you will conform the new store location to COUNTRY VISIONS' then-current standards for store design; close the old location at the same time you open the new location; and remove and obliterate any visible signs, graphics and advertising materials displaying any of our names, Marks and slogans. These changes must be completed within 7 business days of the opening of the new location.

What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Apricot Lane's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, if a franchisee relocates their store, they are responsible for removing and obliterating any visible signs, graphics, and advertising materials that display Apricot Lane's names, marks, and slogans. This must be completed within 7 business days of opening the new location.

This requirement ensures that the former location does not continue to operate under the Apricot Lane brand, which could cause confusion or dilute the brand's image. It is a standard practice in franchising to ensure consistent branding and prevent unauthorized use of trademarks.

The franchisee is responsible for the costs associated with both relocating and conforming the new store to Apricot Lane's current design standards. This includes the expense of removing and obliterating the signs, graphics, and advertising materials from the old location. Franchisees should factor these expenses into their relocation budget.
