| to amend the Lease to protect the various interests of Franchisor. |
| In consideration of the foregoing and the promises contained in the Lease, the parties agree as |

1) PERMITTED USE
Only under the Trade Name, Apricot Lane Boutique for the retail sale of fashion apparel, fashion accessories, shoes and jewelry, gifts, home decor and personal care products and other related products carried from time to time in the majority of Apricot Lane stores, provided that the sale of such related products do not violate a prior agreement between Landlord and a third party, and for no other use or purpose whatsoever.

What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to the 2025 Apricot Lane FDD, there are two addenda discussed: a lease addendum and a franchise agreement addendum.
The lease addendum is signed by the landlord and the tenant (the Apricot Lane franchisee). This addendum amends the lease agreement to protect the interests of Country Visions, Inc., the franchisor. It ensures that the lease contains specific language required by Apricot Lane.
The franchise agreement addendum is signed by Country Visions, Inc. and the franchisee. According to the FDD, this addendum is signed if (a) the offer or sale of the franchise was made in the State of Washington, (b) the franchisee is a resident of Washington, and/or (c) the store will be located or operated in Washington. This addendum is annexed to and forms part of the Franchise Agreement.
