What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Apricot Lane's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, if a franchisee delegates day-to-day operations to a manager, that manager must complete Apricot Lane's initial training program or other training specifically designated by Apricot Lane.

The franchisee must keep Apricot Lane informed of the identity of any employee acting as a manager. All managers employed by the franchisee must complete the initial training program detailed in Section 6.B, unless Apricot Lane agrees otherwise in writing. The franchisee bears the costs associated with this training, as specified in the FDD.

Additionally, the franchisee must ensure that each manager signs a Confidentiality and Non-Disclosure Agreement in a form approved by Apricot Lane and submit a copy of the agreement to Apricot Lane within 30 days of its execution. Despite delegating day-to-day operations, the franchisee remains ultimately responsible for the operation of the franchised business and for supervising all managers.
