What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Apricot Lane's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the training and familiarization course regarding the operation of the franchised business is provided to the franchisee and one employee who will act as their Operating Manager or Assistant Manager. As part of the training program, Apricot Lane may accompany the franchisee to an inventory buy event at a designated location.

This initial training is designed to begin before the store opens and must be completed at least two weeks before the opening. After the store opens, the Apricot Lane headquarters team provides continued post-opening training for at least six months, with follow-ups for at least a year. All franchisees and their designated employees must successfully complete all phases of training to Apricot Lane's satisfaction.

If the franchisee designates new or additional managers after the initial training program, Apricot Lane may provide training to these managers if they can reasonably accommodate them in their regularly scheduled training course. However, Apricot Lane is under no obligation to provide this training to new managers. The franchisee is responsible for all expenses incurred by them or their employees in attending any additional training, including travel costs, room and board, and employees' salaries.
