What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Apricot Lane's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the E-Commerce Platform is considered part of the Franchised Business and is subject to all relevant terms and conditions outlined in the franchise agreement. This means that franchisees must adhere to all the stipulations of the agreement when operating their online store.

Apricot Lane franchisees should note that all revenue generated through the E-Commerce Platform is classified as Gross Revenues and is subject to the agreement's provisions, including royalty fees and advertising contributions. However, the royalty and advertising contributions for the E-Commerce Platform are set at 5.5% and 1%, respectively.

Apricot Lane also maintains control over various aspects of the E-Commerce Platform, including visitor information, content, and the selection of providers. Franchisees must use approved suppliers for the platform's design, management, and maintenance and must adhere to the brand's standards for marketing, sales, and operations. The franchisor can modify the E-Commerce Platform and reserves the right to terminate a franchisee's access if intellectual property rights are infringed.
