What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Apricot Lane's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees are required to make royalty payments on a semi-monthly basis. These payments are due on the 20th and the 5th of each month.
The payment due on the 20th of the month covers gross revenues earned from the 1st through the 15th of the preceding period. Similarly, the payment due on the 5th of the month covers gross revenues from the 16th through the last day of the preceding month.
In addition to the royalty payments, Apricot Lane franchisees must also pay 1% of their gross revenues to the Advertising and Development Fund, following the same semi-monthly schedule as the royalty payments. Franchisees are also obligated to spend at least 2% of gross revenues on local advertising, as detailed further in Item 11 of the FDD.
