What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to the 2025 Apricot Lane Franchise Disclosure Document, the amendment to the franchise agreement allows franchisees to sell fashion apparel, accessories, and other approved merchandise online. This gives franchisees an additional sales channel beyond the traditional brick-and-mortar store.

The amendment introduces a new section, 11 L, to the existing Franchise Agreement. This new section likely outlines the specific terms and conditions that Apricot Lane franchisees must follow when selling products online. These terms could cover various aspects of e-commerce operations, such as website standards, online marketing practices, order fulfillment procedures, and customer service protocols.

For a prospective Apricot Lane franchisee, this amendment presents an opportunity to expand their business and reach a wider customer base through online sales. However, it's crucial to carefully review the complete details of the new Section 11 L to fully understand the obligations and requirements associated with online sales. Franchisees should ensure they have the resources and capabilities to effectively manage an online store in addition to their physical location.
