What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Apricot Lane's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, Apricot Lane will make available assistance with the construction bidding process. Specifically, Apricot Lane will assist with the selection of a licensed general contractor. This assistance is referenced in Section 5.D.3 of the Franchise Agreement.
Apricot Lane also offers other support to franchisees before they open their store. This includes recommending a leasing consultant or real estate broker to assist with site selection and lease negotiations. Apricot Lane will also review the site and provide written notice of approval or disapproval within 30 business days of receiving the franchisee's written proposal.
Additionally, Apricot Lane can provide professional architectural services at the franchisee's option, with fees agreed upon in writing. They can also make available a pre-approved general contractor, also at a fee agreed to in writing. Apricot Lane will review all final plans and specifications for the premises to ensure they meet brand standards and operational requirements.
