What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Apricot Lane's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, payments to the Advertising and Development Fund are due semi-monthly. Specifically, these payments, which amount to 1% of gross revenues, are payable in the same manner as royalty fees.
The royalty fees themselves are due by the 20th and the 5th of each month. The payment due on the 20th covers gross revenues from the 1st through the 15th of the month, while the payment due on the 5th covers gross revenues from the 16th through the last day of the month.
In addition to the Advertising and Development Fund contribution, Apricot Lane franchisees must also spend at least 2% of their gross revenues on local advertising. Item 11 of the FDD provides a more detailed discussion of the Advertising and Development Fund and local advertising requirements.
