What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to the 2025 Apricot Lane Franchise Disclosure Document, the People/Staff/Hiring training in Phase 2 takes place in a few different formats. The training consists of 8 hours of virtual, webinar, and online instruction, as well as in-store training.
Apricot Lane's initial training program is divided into two phases. Phase 1 is completed at home and consists of self-paced activities, eLearning, and virtual learning facilitated by the Apricot Lane headquarters team. Phase 2 includes an in-boutique experience and buying inventory at a designated market, tradeshow, or event.
The second phase of training provides the franchisee with the opportunity to observe on-the-job instruction and practical application in selling skills, working with customers and staff, and interactive computer training. Specifically, Apricot Lane reviews daily store operations, employee relations, customer service standards and sales techniques, advertising and marketing, inventory management, merchandising and display, ordering and receiving product, store pre-opening guidelines, company reporting and procedures.
