What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to the 2025 Apricot Lane Franchise Disclosure Document, the Franchise Agreement becomes effective on the date it is signed by the franchisor. The term of the agreement lasts for ten years from the commencement date of the initial lease for the premises, unless it is terminated earlier as specified in the agreement.

This means that the franchisee's obligations and rights under the agreement begin as soon as Apricot Lane signs the document. The franchisee can expect to operate their Apricot Lane store for a decade, assuming they adhere to the terms and conditions outlined in the agreement and the lease for their store location remains valid.

It is important for prospective franchisees to understand the implications of the lease term on the franchise agreement. The franchise agreement's term is directly tied to the lease for the store's premises, so any issues with the lease could affect the franchise agreement. Franchisees should carefully review the lease terms and ensure they align with their expectations for the business's longevity and success.
