According to Apricot Lane's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, even if a franchisee delegates day-to-day operations to a manager, they remain ultimately responsible for the operation of the Franchised Business and for supervising all managers. The franchisee must also faithfully, honestly, and diligently perform their obligations under the franchise agreement and must not engage in any business or other activities that conflict with these obligations.

This means that while an Apricot Lane franchisee can hire a manager to handle the daily tasks of running the store, they cannot completely remove themselves from the business.
