What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to the 2025 Apricot Lane FDD, the franchisee and Country Visions jointly decide when a representative will arrive to help with the store opening. However, if the store is not prepared when the representative arrives, Apricot Lane has the right to recall the representative until the store is ready.

If the representative is recalled, the franchisee is responsible for covering the costs of sending the representative back to the store to assist with the opening, including any necessary changes to airline tickets. As an alternative to recalling the representative, Apricot Lane can choose to have the representative remain on-site, in which case the franchisee must pay for additional lodging and living costs for each day the representative is unable to complete their tasks.

Apricot Lane also selects, schedules, and sends a store opener representative for staff training, visual merchandising, and opening support for a period of 4-6 days. The franchisee will be charged a fee of $1,500 plus expenses for this service.
