What are the consequences if I post misleading information on the Apricot Lane System Website?

If we include information about the Franchised Business on the System Website, you must give us the information and materials that we periodically request concerning the Franchised Business and otherwise will participate in the System Website in the manner that we periodically specify. By posting or submitting to us information or materials for the System Website, you represent to us that the information and materials are accurate and not misleading and do not infringe any third party's rights.
We will own all intellectual property and other rights in the System Website and all information it contains, including the domain names or URL (or any electronic addresses) for the System Website, the log of "hits" by visitors, and any personal or business data that visitors (including you and your personnel) supply. We may use the Marketing Fund's assets to develop, maintain and update the System Website and digital presence. We may implement and periodically modify system standards relating to the System Website(s) or digital presence and, at our option, may discontinue or alter the System Website(s) or digital presence, or any services offered through the System Website, at any time.

According to Apricot Lane's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, if you provide information or materials for the System Website, you are representing that the information is accurate, not misleading, and does not infringe on any third-party rights.
Apricot Lane or its designees may establish a System Website to advertise, market, and promote the stores. If information about your franchised business is included on the System Website, you must provide the information and materials that Apricot Lane requests and participate in the System Website as specified.
Apricot Lane owns all intellectual property and other rights in the System Website and all information it contains. They may use the Marketing Fund's assets to develop, maintain, and update the System Website and digital presence. Apricot Lane may also modify system standards relating to the System Website or discontinue or alter the System Website at any time.
