What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Apricot Lane's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, while Apricot Lane may offer advice to franchisees regarding their business operations, it does not assume responsibility for the success or failure of the franchised business. Apricot Lane may review reports, conduct inspections, or perform audits and subsequently advise the franchisee based on these observations.

However, Apricot Lane explicitly states that it is not liable for failing to identify or report any problems that may arise in the franchisee's business. This means that the franchisee is ultimately responsible for the day-to-day operations and overall performance of their Apricot Lane store.

Furthermore, if a franchisee requests on-site visits from Apricot Lane, the franchisor may require the franchisee to cover all associated travel and related expenses. This reinforces the understanding that while Apricot Lane offers support and guidance, the franchisee bears the primary responsibility for managing and financing their business.
