Answer from 2024 FDD Document

You are required to cooperate with a physical inventory performed by an independent inventory service designated by us, within ninety (90) days following the Commencement Date, in accordance with our then-current standards. Thereafter, during the term of this Agreement you are required to cooperate with an annual physical inventory audit. If for any reason the inventory audit is cancelled or postponed by you without notice, as described in the Manual, you must reimburse us for the cost of the inventory audit. Sunoco shall make an inventory service available to perform the inventories. You agree and acknowledge that:

What This Means (2024 FDD)

According to Aplus's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees must cooperate with a physical inventory within 90 days of the Commencement Date. This inventory will be conducted by an independent service designated by Aplus.

This initial inventory is a key step in establishing the baseline for the Aplus store's stock levels and ensuring accurate financial tracking from the outset. Franchisees should be prepared to work closely with the designated inventory service to ensure a smooth and accurate process.

In addition to the initial inventory, Aplus franchisees are also required to cooperate with an annual physical inventory audit throughout the term of their Franchise Agreement. If a franchisee cancels or postpones the inventory audit without proper notice, they may be required to reimburse Aplus for the cost of the audit. Sunoco will make an inventory service available to perform the inventories.
