How often does Aplus conduct annual service calls?

According to Aplus's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, annual service calls are conducted three times per year. These service calls include compressor maintenance, air handling unit maintenance, condenser maintenance, cooling maintenance (in the spring), an annual asset inventory report and analysis, and heat maintenance (in the fall).

The compressor maintenance includes visually checking for leaks, as well as checking and recording suction and discharge pressure, oil pressure, room, and ambient temperature.

The air handling unit maintenance includes installing standard filters, leaving three additional sets of filters for site personnel to change each month, checking electrical wiring and connections, checking and recording amperage across the blower motor, checking tension, condition, and alignment of belts, and lubricating the shaft and motor bearing.

The condenser maintenance includes checking and recording amperage across the condenser fan motor, checking electrical wiring and connections, cleaning condensate lines and pans, and checking contactors and starters. The cooling maintenance includes power washing condenser coils and cleaning evaporator coils, as well as changing all belts. The heat maintenance includes verifying pilot ignition, checking for proper operation of primary fuel controls and safety controls, checking and adjusting the thermostat, checking pump pressure (fuel oil), and checking and cleaning the flue, as well as replacing the oil filter and nozzle.
