Based on the 2024 Aplus Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees are required to comply with specific regulations regarding gasoline dispensers. Specifically, they must post the octane rating of each grade of gasoline on each dispenser in accordance with current federal regulations. These decals displaying the octane rating must be placed so they are easily readable by customers. Additionally, Aplus franchisees must comply with all applicable federal regulations related to unleaded gasoline requirements.

These requirements are part of the broader obligation for Aplus franchisees to operate their premises in strict accordance with all applicable federal, state, and local laws, ordinances, rules, and regulations. This includes adhering to lawful directives and orders from public officials, as well as complying with zoning, use, and building permits applicable to the premises and any loaned equipment. Franchisees are also responsible for notifying Sunoco in writing of any citations, notices of violation, or other communications alleging violations of these laws and regulations.
