EXHIBIT A
An as-built site survey in AutoCAD is to be provided by Franchisee. If you do not have an as-built survey in AutoCAD, one will be created by our third party vendor. The cost of an as-built is approximately Two Thousand Nine Hundred Dollars ($2,900), and is your responsibility to pay for. During the as-built site survey, Franchisee must provide access to all areas requiring survey. Third party vendor will generate an architectural as-built in AutoCAD to APLUS specifications, which will include floor plan, interior and exterior elevations, and photographs. Third party vendor will design store layout to APLUS standards and submit layout to Sunoco & Franchisee for review and approvals. Third party vendor will charge Franchisee a Project Management Fee of Four Thousand Nine Hundred Dollars ($4,900), which will cover the procurement of required equipment, engineering support for the project and working with the Franchisee's General Contractor.

According to Aplus's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, the Aplus Franchise Agreement is included as an exhibit to the disclosure document. Specifically, Exhibit A is the Aplus Franchise Agreement. Aplus also includes attachments to the franchise agreement, such as Attachment 8, which contains state-specific amendments, including an Illinois amendment.
Before signing the Franchise Agreement, Aplus requires franchisees to acknowledge that they have received and reviewed the agreement and all its exhibits, addenda, and schedules. Franchisees must also confirm that they understand all the information contained within these documents. Aplus also requires franchisees to acknowledge that they have received a complete copy of the Franchise Disclosure Document at least 14 calendar days before signing the agreement or paying any consideration for the franchise rights.
Furthermore, the franchisee must confirm they've had ample time and opportunity to consult with an attorney or business advisor about the potential risks and benefits of entering into the agreement. This thorough process ensures that franchisees are well-informed and aware of their obligations and rights before committing to the Aplus franchise.
