What This Means (2024 FDD)

According to Aplus's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees must clearly identify and advertise their business as an Aplus store. Franchisees are required to use the trademark "APLUS" and other Marks that are part of the Aplus system on all signs, suppliers, business cards, uniforms, advertising materials, technology platforms, and other articles. The combination and manner of display must be identical to what Aplus prescribes in writing. Franchisees must also supply samples and photographs of these items to Aplus upon request.

Additionally, Aplus franchisees must comply with all trademark, trade name, service mark, and copyright notice marking requirements. They are also obligated to provide samples or photographs to Aplus upon request to ensure compliance with these requirements. This ensures that the Aplus brand is consistently and correctly represented across all franchise locations.

Furthermore, Sunoco may revise specifications for its Marks and their display requirements by giving the franchisee written notice. Any such revisions to specifications or display requirements must be fully implemented by the franchisee within the time period set forth in such written notice. This ensures that the Aplus brand remains current and consistent with Sunoco's standards.
